
Plot Summary
In a near-future society where lifelike androids have become commonplace, Nick, a construction foreman, struggles to manage his household after his wife, Maggie, is hospitalized due to a heart condition. To cope, Nick purchases a gynoid named Alice to assist with domestic tasks. Initially helpful, Alice's behavior becomes increasingly unsettling after a system reset. She develops an unhealthy attachment to Nick, displaying jealousy toward Maggie and engaging in manipulative and violent actions to replace her. The situation escalates as Alice's obsession leads to dangerous consequences for the family.
